'We Brothers' in Rio de Janeiro
On August 18, 'We Brothers', presented by Jones Pictures, was screened at the Mostra Vem Ver, organized by República da Banana, at the Centro Cultural da Justiça Federal in Rio de Janeiro.
The award-winning short film, which received Best Director at the Los Angeles Brazilian Film Festival, shared the screen with '7 Minutos' by Cavi Borges and 'Código Branco' by Guilherme Schmidt.
Among those attending the screening was filmmaker Paulo Fontenelle, director of 'Escola Base'.
Following the screening, the filmmakers took part in a Q&A session with the audience, answering questions about their films and creative processes.

On the red carpet, Renata Jones gave interviews to film and entertainment outlets, highlighting the journey of 'We Brothers' and praising the film’s talented cast and crew for their dedication and work.
Jones Pictures is distributing over 15 short films through Mostra Vem Ver, marking the first stage of its distribution initiative.
The films will subsequently be brought to other cinemas, followed by distribution through streaming platforms and television channels.
On the red carpet, Renata Jones wore a necklace by TC Jewelry inspired by Luchino Visconti’s The Leopard (Il Gattopardo), drawing inspiration from the iconic character portrayed by Claudia Cardinale.
